Peer support groups for all of Austin’s new parents.

"My PIP Group was my primary support system during those first few months. It was all so foreign, and it was nice to know I wasn't alone."
- Andrea, PIP Alumna

What is a PIP Group?

  • Weekly peer-to-peer support groups for parents & caregivers of all genders to attend with their babies.

  • Our goal is to provide a welcoming and non-judgmental space where families become a support network for each other.

What happens during a PIP Group?

  • All parents are invited to share their highs and lows from the week.

  • The group processes the transition to parenthood.

  • Parents learn about child development through weekly topics like “feeding” or “sleep”.

  • Participants gain resources through the leader, each other, and guest speakers.

  • Families meet for 8 - 12 weeks with a trained PIP facilitator.

PIP Program Offerings

Program Fee Info & Options

Program Fee Option 1: $250

We estimate that it will cost PIP $500 to serve a family in 2022. Our goal is to reduce the financial barrier to entry for all families. In 2023, we are asking families that are able to cover 50% of cost to select this option.

Program Fee Option 2: $125

We firmly believe every family needs PIP regardless of ability to pay the full program fee. Our $125 option allows you to join a group at a reduced rate.

Program Fee Option 3: $25

Your time has value, especially as a new parent. If you are only able to give your time to join, we empower you to select this $25 option to cover the registration processing fees.
