Community Partners
Our Community Partners are wonderful local organizations and businesses who have supported or invested in PIP, whose missions and values align with ours, and with whom we've joined in offering support and resources to Austin’s new and expecting parents.
PIP is proud to be a supporting member of the Maternal Health Equity Collaborative (MHEC), which seeks to eliminate racial inequities in maternal health outcomes. We recognize that the challenges Central Texas families' face significantly differ across our community.
The Maternal Health Equity Collaborative (MHEC) is excited to offer free, short-term, culturally congruent, high quality in-home childcare, for Black Mamas in Central Texas during the perinatal period.
Eligibility
Identify as a Black birthing person and be actively receiving birth support from one of the MHEC birth organizations (GALS, Black Mamas ATX, Mama Sana Vibrant Woman).
