WHAT TO EXPECT

from your PIP Group

General Schedule

Arrive & Settle In (10-15 minutes)

You’ll be greeted by your facilitator and fellow parents. Help yourself to snacks and settle in with your baby. This is a low-pressure space to exhale, release, and connect.

Highs & Lows (30 minutes)

Each parent is invited to share one highlight and one hard moment from their week. It’s a chance to be heard and validated without judgment.

Developmental Moment (10 minutes)

After check-ins, you’ll enjoy a simple, engaging activity that supports your baby’s development and strengthens your bond. Think “tummy time tips”, or a group song - always age-appropriate and sweet.

Weekly Topic Conversation (30 minutes)

Your trained facilitator guides a discussion on a relevant new parenting topics including sleep, feeding, early learning and development, and emotional changes. Groups vote on the final three weekly topics, which include: language development, childcare, temperament, relationships, self-care, parenting styles, racial and cultural identity, and more.

Come As You Are, Really!

We know that life with a baby is unpredictable.

You are always welcome to:

  • Arrive late sometimes (we know how it goes with an infant)

  • Feel free to feed, soothe, or change your baby anytime, anywhere.

  • Show up tired, joyful, overwhelmed, exhausted, or all of the above.

We’re just glad you’re here.

Guest Speakers

Most groups also feature at least one guest speaker during the series — a local expert invited by your facilitator to share insights or answer questions on a specific topic.
