Getting Involved with PIP: Companies & Organizations

“Love where you live, Love where you give.”

- I Live Here I Give Here

Businesses that participate in social responsibility improve customers’ perception of their brand, attract and retain more employees, and appeal to major investors. There are numerous ways to get involved with PIP!

We are especially excited about partnering with local businesses owned by People Of Color to adequately reflect and represent the families we serve.

  • Donate to PIP. We recognize that not all businesses have the capacity to donate or get involved in the same ways larger corporations do, but every gift makes a huge difference in the sustainability and capacity building of a non-profit.

  • Host a Fundraiser. Make a generous donation as a company and encourage your staff to participate. Set a goal for the amount of money you want to raise and give rewards to individuals who donate above a certain amount.

  • Sponsor a PIP Event. Consider sponsoring our annual Fundraising Event, Connection Matters. Sponsorships are available in pre-determined amounts, and your company logo would be on various event communications depending on sponsorship level.

  • Recruit your team/employees to volunteer with us!

  • Host a “PIP Day” by giving a portion of your proceeds to PIP or select a product to give proceeds to supporting our mission (ex. “Connection Matters” coffee blend, “It Takes a Village” tote bag).

  • Give in-kind products such as gift cards for families in need, snacks and beverages for PIP groups, baby & toddler related items for our Community Baby Shower, etc.!

  • Host a PIP social media takeover, where a member of our staff will post about PIP through your social media stories.

  • Create a discount code for PIP families to access products & services.

  • Invite us to your tabling event (corporate or non-profit fair) so we can share information about our programs and how employees can get involved.
